I am from a village, I came to the city as a bride, yesterday my mother-in-law told me: “Your clothes are very ugly, you are very tasteless”.

I am a girl, born and raised in a village. I always learned from my parents how hardworking a person should be. And thanks to my diligence I was able to pass my exams well and enter one of the best universities. I spared no effort during my student years in order to study well and become a good specialist. I met my husband in the university when I was a student. We talked and realized we wanted to get married.

My husband is a wonderful person, but my mother-in-law has a terrible character. She is a well-developed woman, well-dressed, tall, and always looks down on me because I am from a village.

That day she saw that I was wearing new clothes brought from the village and said “Your clothes are very ugly, you are very tasteless”. I felt very bad. Then I pulled myself together and said: “My clothes are beautiful if you don’t like them, give me money to buy nice clothes. I’m wearing what I have.”
